A talented right sided full back, Maicon also should be in Old Trafford. He performed very well in both Brazil and Inter Milan, so I think Maicon is the best choice to strengthen Man Utd defense.
Lastly, the goalkeeping. Schalke's Manuel Neuer maybe a good replacement for Van der Sar who is near 40th birthday.
