
Spanish international David Villa has completed his move to FC Barcelona after a fee was agreed with Valencia for just over £34m. The 28 year old has been on the radar for many of Europe’s elite for a number of years now due to his prolific goal scoring for both club and country.

Van der Wiel has also told the media that he would relish a move to Arsenal, and hopes fellow Dutchman van Persie will put in a good word for him.

Sami Khedira is said to be the replacement of Ballack who had sign with Bayer 04 Leverkusen on free transfer. Chelsea's manager, Ancelotti also denied that he was not interested in Sami Khedira.

There was a rumors said that Fernando Torres is one of Man City and Chelsea transfer target.

England and Chelsea's Joe Cole is also on Wenger's radar. Wenger sees Joe Cole as an excellent signing to strengthen the midfield, and he is even more interesting because of the fact he is out of contract and it would not require a transfer fee to sign him.

Manchester City FC have completed the signing of Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure to make him their third summer signing. The Blues have paid around £27.5million for the Ivory Coast international, who has penned a five-year contract to team up with his brother Kolo - who is the City captain. City boss Roberto Mancini told the club’s website: “This is another fantastic signing for Manchester City, and I am very pleased Yaya has joined us, he is a very good player.
"Everyone knows Yaya is a player that we have admired for a long time, and we would like to welcome him to Manchester City.
"He has played at the top level with Barcelona and I am sure his experience and ability will be very important for us."
